 Call for volunteers: Church Street Fetish Fair

Church Street Fetish Fair (CSFF), a Toronto celebration of the
leather, fetish and fantasy communities produced annually by the
Church-Wellesly Village Business Improvement Area, will take place on
Sunday, August 17.
Each year, it takes about 100 volunteers to make it a fun-filled day
free of troubles. CSFF needs people to help with:
* Donation collection (on-street looney/twoonie drive for the AIDS
Committee of Toronto's practical support programs)
* Entertainment/stage security
* Facilities patrol (also known as 'raunch patrol')
* Street safety/security (crowd control, security, barricade patrol,
working with the police)
* Water boys/girls (to deliver water to the volunteers)
Volunteers work a minimum of four hours in one of three primary shifts:
* 10am to 2pm
* 2pm to 6pm
* 6pm to 10pm
CSFF also needs the hands of a few early risers to assist with for
set-up, which starts at about 8:30am.
Each volunteer who completes a four-hour shift will receive a souvenir
CSFF t-shirt. Shifts can be arranged in a rotating fashion to ensure
you see more of the fair during your shift. And you're encouraged to
get into the spirit of the event by dressing in your leather or other
fetish/fantasy gear.
Volunteer coordination for CSFF 2008 is being coordinated by Mr
Leatherman Toronto titleholders. For more information or to sign-up to
